WHITELAND
Leroy Skaggs, 87, of Whiteland, IN passed away December 18, 2020. He was born in Bonnieville, Kentucky, a son of the late Mamie (Hatfield) Skaggs Mathena and Earl Skaggs. Survivors include his wife, Rosie (Robards) Skaggs; son, Doug Skaggs; daughter, Pamela (Kenny) Shanafelt; brothers, Bob (Nancy) Skaggs of Tennessee, Rustie (Brenda) Skaggs of Bargersville; Lil (Gene) Rogers of Greenwood.
Leroy served in the United States Marines. He was retired from Western Electric (Lucent).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Gracepoint Church, 330 W Whiteland Road, New Whiteland, IN 46184 or a favorite charity in his honor.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Gracepoint Church, 330 W. Whiteland Road, New Whiteland, IN 46184. A Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Care Ministry Pastor, Zachary Scellato.
