Men’s basketball reaches HCAC semis
Payton Mills totaled 18 points and 15 rebounds in leading Franklin College to a 55-51 win at Bluffton in the quarterfinal round of the HCAC tournament on Wednesday night. The Grizzlies (7-6) now advance to play a semifinal game at Manchester.
Women’s basketball drops quarterfinal
Despite 21 points from Destinee Cross, Franklin College came up just short in a 57-54 home loss to Mount St. Joseph in the quarterfinal round of the HCAC tournament. Bayleigh Torrance added 10 points for the Grizzlies (7-5).
