Larry L. Coffman 81 of Franklin, IN passed away Friday February 26, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 15, 1939 in Franklin, IN to Arthur Leroy Coffman and Doris Magil (Tilson) Coffman. He married Janet Lee (Harris) Coffman on September 13, 1958 at Community Congregational Church in Franklin, IN, she survives. He was a 1957 graduate of Clark Township School. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. He had been a building plan reviser for the city of Phoenix, Arizona for 15 years, retiring in 2000 and previously he had been a custom home builder in Johnson County, IN from 1970 until 1980. He was a member of Hurricane Community Church in Franklin. He enjoyed fishing and was a master craftsman and especially particular in the construction projects he worked on.

Survivors include his wife Janet Lee (Harris) Coffman of Franklin, his daughter Gava Coffman Mudd (Dannie) of Franklin, IN, his son Scott A. Coffman (Mindy) of Morgantown, IN, four grandchildren Amber Cox (Kevin) of Avon, IN, Amy Danaher (Justin) of Westfield, IN, Ethan Coffman (Chelsea) of Franklin, IN and Melanie Mudd of Franklin, IN, six great grandchildren Ainslee, Jacob, Avery, Ryder, Zayden and Blake, two brothers Bruce Coffman (Shirley) of Morgan Hill, CA, Chuck Coffman (Jan) of Decatur, IN and a sister Becky Maxson (Jim) of Russiaville, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The Reverend Dan McLaughlin will conduct a memorial service on Friday March 5, 2021 at 7PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed for family and friends to connect at <a href="http://www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/larry-coffman">www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/larry-coffman</a>. Please use Firefox Internet or Google Chrome for optimal viewing. Military honors will follow by the United States Air Force Honor Guard. Friends may call Friday March 5, 2021 from 5PM until service time at the mortuary. Due to COVID-19 mandates, facial coverings or mask and social distancing is required for those attending.
