The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is sending strong warnings about not letting our guard down because of the drop in COVID cases. They have been warning health officials of the new variants from the UK, South Africa and Brazil spreading rapidly through the country and specifically the UK, and South African variants spreading rapidly in Indiana. What are our local school leaders thinking by putting more than 1,600 students, plus staff, bus drivers, etc. back in small classrooms where it is impossible to space out and be safe? Shame on you for putting these students, school support staff, bus drivers, teachers and the entire community in such a dangerous situation.
