Martha Ann ‘Caldwell’ Johnson

GREENWOOD

Mrs. Martha Ann (Caldwell) Johnson, Greenwood, was welcomed Home by her Savior on the late evening of Saturday, March 13, 2021. She was 90. Martha was born December 16. 1930 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a daughter of the late Robert and Margaret A. (Brown) McIntyre.

Martha was a graduate of Greencastle High School where she was a member of the band, playing the flute. She then attended Indianapolis Business College and she then used her talents in marketing research at Herron & Associates for 20 retiring in 2007. Martha was a faithful member of Emmanuel Church of Greenwood for over 30 years. She had a passion for singing praise in the church choir and participating in the music department. Martha was also known for her beautiful ear rings and having her nails done to perfection! She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and church community.

Martha is survived by her loving husband, Mervin Johnson, whom she married October 16, 2004; her step-sons, Rick (Katy) Johnson and Greg (Penny) Johnson; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren as well as her very dear friends, Joe and Carolynn Hubbs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing by a sister.

Funeral services for Martha will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, with Chaplain Jeff Hauersperger and Pastor Marion Glover officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services Thursday at the funeral home.
