<p>Golf</p><p><strong>Shepherd makes Augusta cut</strong></p><p>Erica Shepherd shot a second-round 77 on Thursday but still remained above the cut line at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur, earning a spot in the field of 30 for the nationally televised final round Saturday at Augusta National.</p><p>Shepherd, a 2019 Center Grove graduate currently in her sophomore year at Duke, had two birdies and seven bogeys on the day at Champions Retreat. She finished the round in a tie for 21st place at +6 overall, seven shots back of leaders Rose Zhang and Ingrid Lindblad.</p><p>Saturday’s final round will be broadcast by NBC starting at noon.</p>
