GREENWOOD
Donald Cordell Woodley, 80, of Greenwood, passed away on April 3, 2021. He was the son of Marion and Birdie Woodley and was born in Jasper, Alabama on December 2, 1940. He was a graduate of Walker County High School in Alabama.
Donald married Martha Turner on August 12, 1962. They met when he was a gas station attendant, which was prior to his long career as a machine repairman for RCA/Thompson Consumer Electronics. Martha passed away in May of 2020.
He was an active member of the University Heights United Methodist Church while juggling his career and cheering on the activities of his two children. Donald enjoyed golfing, bowling, and watching sports.
Donald is survived by his brother, Kenneth Woodley; son, Bart Woodley; daughter, Laura Hacker; and grandchildren, Tatum and Chase Hacker.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 South State Road 135 and Olive Branch Road, Greenwood, IN.
Donald will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
