INDIANAPOLIS
Nancy L. Coram, 81, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021 at her home. Nancy was born March 4, 1940 in Indianapolis to Harry A. Chapman and Dorothy E. (Cooper) Chapman. She married Fredric A. Coram on June 21, 1958, and they raised four children together. She worked for St. Francis Hospital as a Registrar for 13 years and, prior to that, for Rolls-Royce/Allison for nearly 20 years. She enjoyed working in her yard, reading, and spending time with her large family. She attended Remedy Christian Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include; children Diane L. Houpt (James) of Greenwood, Jeffery A. Coram of Indianapolis and Beth A. “Dolly” Tollison (Brad) of Indianapolis; seven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and brother, George Chapman (Linda). She was preceded in death by her husband, Fredric, her beloved daughter, Jennifer L. Alder, and her granddaughter Talya Coram. A funeral service will be conducted at 6pm on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Singleton and Herr Mortuary and Memorial Center, 7602 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana by Pastor Greg Edens.
