SHELBYVILLE, IN.
Garry D. Brown, 74, of Shelbyville, IN passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Major Hospital in Shelbyville, IN. He was born October 20, 1946 in Bloomington, IN to Dale W. and Helen M. (Stewart) Brown.
He was a graduate of Emmerich Manual High School in Indianapolis, IN.
He had been a journeyman plumber for 44 years having worked for Glanton Plumbing in Shelbyville, IN, Kellie Plumbing in Indianapolis, IN and Earl Gray Plumbing in Bargersville, IN.
He was a free spirited person with a great sense of humor with those he would meet.
Survivors include his daughter Tracy D. Smith (Rodney) of Indianapolis, IN, his son Travis D. Brown of Shelbyville, IN, six grandchildren Baily Runneboh (Brad Patrick), Drew Runneboh, Amanda Kinsey (Kevin), Trent Brown (Kaylee), Piper Brown and Brody Brown, four great- grandchildren Colton Brown, Kinsley Brown, Kellen Brown and Brayden Kinsey, a twin brother Larry Brown (Lita) of Hilo, HA, brother James Randall Brown, sisters Donna Vatovec of Eugene, OR and Kathy Smith (Ronald) of Greenwood, IN and his dog “Peppy”.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The Reverend Shan Rutherford will conduct a service on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 10:30 A.M. at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed for family and friends to connect at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/garry-brown.
