Sectional pairings set
Johnson County’s teams learned their state tournament paths when the IHSAA unveiled sectional brackets on Monday evening.
In the Center Grove Sectional, Greenwood and Whiteland will face off in Wednesday’s opening round, with the winner to play the host Trojans in one Thursday semifinal. The other semi pits Franklin against Indian Creek.
Edinburgh will Hauser in the opening round of the Columbus North Sectional on Wednesday.
Lancers topple Eagles
Edinburgh swept all three singles matches in straight sets on the way to a 4-1 win over Brown County. Annelise Lollar, Bethany Burton and Jessica Walsh were all victorious for the Lancers, who also got a win at No. 2 doubles from Zoey Sida and Gracie Myers.
