Helen Ann (Miller) Linville, 88, and longtime resident of Franklin, IN passed away peacefully on Monday morning May 17, 2021 at Morning Pointe in Franklin, IN. Helen was born February 24, 1933 in Shelby County, Indiana, the daughter of Virgil and Lelia Gladys (Buck) Miller. She graduated from Mt. Auburn High School in 1951.

On September 20, 1952, she married Fred Linville at Mt. Auburn Christian Church in Shelby County, IN. He preceded her in death on December 11, 2020 after 68 years of devoted marriage. Fred & Helen had a world-wide love affair. Together they have visited all seven continents, over 50 countries and all 50 States. Helen was a homemaker, helping her husband with the farming operation and raising their 5 children, while always showing grace and having impeccable style. She was the glue that held everything together. She was always known for putting other people’s needs before her own. Helen will be remembered for her devotion and unselfish love to her husband, 5 children, 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. She will be missed by many.

Survivors include her children Charlotte Sullivan (Shawn) of Franklin, IN, Jacob Linville (Dana Shank) of Shelbyville, IN, Maria Hartman of Greenwood, IN, Matthew Linville of Franklin, IN and J.C. Linville (Shannon) of Franklin, IN, eleven grandchildren Jake Rose of Nashville, TN, Colin Hartman of Indianapolis, IN, Michael Linville of Franklin, IN, Payton Hartman of Indianapolis, IN, Spencer Sullivan of New Fairfield, CT, Wyatt Linville (Taylor) of Whiteland, IN, Ethan Sullivan of Franklin, IN, Maverick Linville (Emma) of Salem, IN, Sarah Sullivan of Franklin, IN, Anna Linville of Franklin, IN and Grace Linville of Franklin, IN, a great- granddaughter Rosalee Linville of Morgantown, IN along with many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Loren Miller and Carroll Miller and a sister, Harriet Wilson.

Father Michael Keucher will conduct a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 12 noon at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 125 East Broadway Street, in Shelbyville, IN. Friends may call Friday, May 21, 2021, from 4PM until 8PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 11AM till service time at the church.
