GREENWOOD
Michael Joseph Halloran, 80, of Greenwood, passed away on June 2, 2021. He was born on January 27, 1941 in Cincinnati, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosemary (Riesenberg) and Joseph Halloran, and his brother,Tom Halloran. Mike is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Lynne (Wittry); children, Erin Wiegand, Tim (Cathy) Halloran; his grandchildren, Kyle (Courtney) Wiegand, Jessica Wiegand, Rachel Wiegand, Connor (Mykal) Halloran, and Quinn Halloran; sisters, Kathy Frederick, Patti (Pat) Kippenbrock, Brothers; Barry (Janice) Halloran, Kevin (Rayma) Halloran; and many nieces and nephews.
Mike was a 1959 graduate of Sacred Heart High School. He entered the glass business at an early age, and with his experience and expertise, founded Suburban Glass Service in 1982. He loved the great outdoors, and was an avid fisherman and hunter. His hunting and fishing excursions took his travels to Canada, Alaska, and everywhere in between.
He enjoyed telling stories to his family and friends, meeting hisbuddies in Brown County for breakfast, and loved family get togethers. He was looking forward to the birth of his first great grandchild. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens of Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135, followed by the service at 3:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, Society of St. Vincent de Paul-Indianapolis, and The Benedict Inn.
