Purdue Extension hosting pesticide program

Purdue Extension Johnson County will be hosting a pesticide program.

The program will begin at 9 a.m. on June 30 at the Purdue Extension office, 484 N. Morton St., Franklin. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., $10 for education credits.

Program agenda will include: Farm stress; regulatory topic; insect IPM in cover crops and soil diagnostics. Optional complimentary lunch will be provided by Hickory Hills BBQ.

Private pesticide applicators participating in the program will obtain one credit towards license renewal requirement. Bring your private applicator card.
