BOGGSTOWN
Eleanor Ann (Prichard) Perkinson, 84, of Boggstown, passed away on June 16, 2021 at Wellbrooke of Avon in Avon, Indiana.
She was born on June 24, 1936 near Nineveh to Frank and Helen (Davis) Prichard and graduated from the former Boggstown High School in 1954.
She married Raymond C. “Skippy” Perkinson on December 12, 1954 in the Bengal Christian Church, and they were married for fifty years. They owned and operated the Boggstown Locker Plant for thirty-five years.
Survivors include one daughter, Connie S. Perkinson of Avon; one son, Larry R. Perkinson of Pleasant View; and one grandson, Cooper D. Perkinson of Avon. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two infants.
Eleanor Ann was a member of the Bengal Christian Church. In her younger days, she enjoyed teaching Sunday School classes and playing the piano at church. In recent years, she loved spending time with friends and family and attending her grandson’s activities.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin. Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin is assisting the family with arrangements.
