Angela C. Bennett

GREENWOOD

Angela “Angie” C. Bennett 60 years young located in Greenwood, Indiana passed away Friday, June 18th 2021 in her home surrounded by her family. It was on this day that her battle with cancer would end; pain can no longer tie her down as close family members bear witness to her running free into the loving arms of her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

Angie was born on August 1st 1960 in Jacksonville, Florida. Eventually she moved to Indianapolis where she graduated from Warren Central High School. In April of 1979 she married her best friend, Michael Bennett and had two children. She worked for WalMart and Babies R’ Us in customer service where she enjoyed helping others. Some of her hobbies included sewing, shopping, special trips to the casino, and playing online games. She especially cherished time with her family but loved being a Mamaw to her grandchildren, perhaps most of all. She had the biggest heart and will be deeply missed by all who knew her; it is her kind, caring and loving nature mixed with the life-long memories that will carry us on.

She leaves behind her husband of 42 years, Michael Bennett; children, Keli Jean Bennett, Randall (Ashley) Alan Bennett; mother, Victoria Wilhite; mother in law, Peggy J Bennett; siblings, Sherry (Ron) Kieper, Mollie Henry; six grandchildren, Blaine Bennett, Kaeli Bennett, Brookelyn Bennett, Korbyn Bennett, Blake Bennett, Beckham Bennett. Angie was preceded in death by her father, Randall Goodwin Henry; stepfather, Glenn Wilhite; father in law, Jack W Bennett; grandchild Oliver Bennett; and her furever friend, Sweetie-dog Bennett.
