Doug and Carla (Virostko) Demaree have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
The couple were married on June 19, 1971 in Terre Haute.
Their daughters are planning a family dinner celebration.
Doug was a credit manager at WESCO Distribution and Carla is a retired teacher from Franklin Community School Corporation.
They have two children Jan (Brett) Jones, Libby (Chad) Findley and five grandchildren.
