Fraud
Lakeview Circle, Franklin: A woman reported at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday that she received an email from CashApp asking her to verify her account by buying a $100 gift card. She complied and after she received another request she realized the email was fraudulent.
2105 E. King St., Circle K Shell: A woman reported at 6:18 p.m. Wednesday that her stolen credit card had been used at the gas station at around 11:39 a.m. and was used at the Polo Ralph Lauren store and a gas station in Edinburgh beforehand.
Theft
2125 Morton St., Walmart: Police were called at 11:11 p.m. Wednesday to report that a woman had been repeatedly leaving her car, going to a vending machine and returning to her car. The vending machine was empty and the handle was damaged, but police did not find soda cans or cash from the vending machine in the suspect’s car.

Thefts
860 S. US 31, Rural King: Reported at 8:51 a.m. Wednesday that a theft had occurred at Rural King.
1515 Lacebark Drive, Greenwood: Burglary reported at 1:53 p.m. Wednesday with several items stolen from a deceased resident at an apartment complex.
Criminal Mischief
Coventry Court, Greenwood: Reported at 11:46 a.m. Wednesday that the caller’s vehicle was covered in Silly String and shaving cream sometime overnight.
1180 Wilson Drive, Holiday Inn Express: Reported at 4:34 p.m. Wednesday that two tires had been slashed on a car parked on the south side of the building.
1281 N. US 31, Chili’s Grill and Bar: Reported at 11:50 p.m. Wednesday that criminal mischief had occurred.
Fraud
3200 block of Smith Valley Road, Greenwood: Reported at 4:24 p.m. Tuesday through an online report that a fraud had occurred.
