Doris A. LeFave

Doris A. LeFave “Dolores” of Greenwood, Indiana passed away on July 8th, 2021. She was a graduate of Butler University with a masters degree in Music Education and led a professional music career, along side her husband Carmen LeFave, playing and teaching. She was a member of Indy Musicians Local 3AF-N for over 50 years. She was a music teacher for Center Grove middle school for over 25 years.

Anybody that knew Doris knew that she loved her family, her friends, and her next adventure. She was known for her touching and heartfelt stories, always being ready to join in on the fun, and being the life of every party or get together. Often times she could be found in any crowd simply by following the sound of her raucous laughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William “Carmen” LeFave; daughter, Melinda LeFave-Pagel; step-son, Barry LeFave; and her brother, Jim Osborn (Rose).

Survived by daughter, Julie LeFave-Cass (Terry); grandchildren, Adam Cass, Grace Cass, and Sean Cass; son in law, Tom Pagel; grandson, Aaron Pagel; step son, Gary LeFave (Jane); grandchildren, Kristy LeFave, Chelci Perez, Jeff Drywater, and Nicole LeFave; sister, Barb Marolt (Ken); brother, Ken Osborn; grandsons, Bill LeFave and Chris LeFave.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN. Additional visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:30 AM until the tine of service at 11:30 AM, also at the funeral home.

Doris will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.
