Patricia Lynne (Eastman) Scudder, 71, longtime resident of Whiteland, Indiana passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021 in Greenwood, Indiana.

Pattie was born July 18, 1949 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada to the late Kenneth and Reta (Danby) Eastman.

Pattie married her husband, Fred Scudder on April 5, 1969 in Denver, Colorado. They were married for fifty-two wonderful years. She was a faithful Pastor’s Wife, serving alongside her husband in the Heritage Baptist Church of Moses Lake, WA for twenty-three years, as well as several other churches before that.

Pattie cherished her relationship with God and was an active member at the Greenwood Bible Baptist church for many years. Pattie had a great love for roses and photography. She found great joy in capturing special moments with her camera to add to her collection of memories. She could often be found knitting or browsing garage sales for her next bargain. She always looked forward to shopping trips and could always find the perfect gift to give. She treasured her role as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an excellent cook and loved to gather with her loved ones for a meal. She leaves behind warm memories that will last a lifetime.

Pattie is survived by her husband, Fred Scudder; her three children, Darin (Jennifer) Scudder, of Whiteland, Indiana, Tammy (Matthew) Stidham, of New Port Richey, Florida, and Kelli (John) Hutchins, of Franklin, Indiana; her sister Linda (Jerry) Lang, of Ft. Morgan, Colorado; her brother, Brian (Julie) Eastman, of Washington; her four grandchildren, Joy Garcia, Philip Scudder, Samuel Stidham, and Isaac Hutchins.

Pattie was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, David Eastman.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Greenwood Bible Baptist Church with visitation at 11:00 A.M. until the service hour.

Pattie will be laid to rest at Youngs Creek Cemetery in Franklin, Indiana.
