INDIANAPOLIS
Loretta “Jean” Arnes, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 2, 2021. She was born on May 2, 1931 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Sam and Izora Wooldridge.
She was a member of Gracepoint Church, and loved flower gardening.
Jean spent her working life at Eli Lilly and Co. for 28 years in Insulin Filling and 5 years in Parenteral Filling, Building 105. She had been a Supervisor for many years before her retirement in January of 1990.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Lynn (Jon) Crist; grandson, Sean (Kim) Middleton; and great grandson, Carter Middleton. Her son, Bob (Helen) Arnes, Jr.; granddaughter, Jennifer (Chris) Campbell; great grandchildren, Olivia, Ava, and Caden Campbell; and granddaughter, Shannon Stroud.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Arnes, Sr.; sister, Jane Vaughn; brothers, Frank Wooldridge, and Martin (Betty)Wooldridge.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 5:00 pm at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN.
Jean will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, IN.
