W. Main St. and Melody Ave.: Reported at 1:14 p.m. Tuesday that a hit and run had occurred.

Identity theft

186 Surina Way, Greenwood Police Department: Someone reported at 11:13 a.m. Tuesday that identity deception had occurred.

Personal-injury accident

3:20 p.m. Tuesday — S. Park Drive and S. Park Blvd. Clint Lewis, 48, Whitestown. Lewis reported having pain and injury to his back.

13410 block of Osprey Way: Reported at 11:42 p.m. Tuesday that a theft had occurred.

540 N. State Road 135, LA Fitness: A man reported at 8:42 p.m. Tuesday the theft and fraudulent usage of his credit cards had occurred.

Criminal mischief

3800 block of Chelsea Terrace, Greenwood: A woman reported at 3 p.m. Tuesday that someone had tried to break into her house by cutting her window screen.

5040 block of Mouth Pleasant S. St., Greenwood: A woman reported at 12:09 p.m. Tuesday that someone had attempted to kick the door open but was unsuccessful then smashed the door handle and threw a brick through the window.

Fraud

1190 block of Hospital Road, Franklin: A woman reported at 12:56 p.m. Tuesday that she deposited a check from what she thought was her new employer and found out it was a fraudulent check.
