FRANKLIN
Larry Dwane Setser, 79 of Franklin passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at his residence.
He was born on December 15, 1941 in Franklin, Indiana to Cale B. Setser and Ruth J. (Smith) Setser. He married Patricia D. (Barnd) Setser on September 14, 1968. She preceded him in passing. Larry is survived by sons, Scott A. Setser and Troy (Jacqueline) Setser; grandchildren, Michael Setser, Kimberly (Blaine) Howell, Alesha (Bret) Dunham and Joshua Setser; eight great grandchildren and one on the way. Also surviving is Uncle, Melvin Smith; sister, Kayla (Ronald ) Hutchson and brother, John (Kandi) Setser. He was preceded in passing by his parents; wife, Patricia and brother, Clinton Setser.
Larry was a 1960 graduate of Franklin High School where he participated in Hi-Y; Pep Club and was a member of the Indiana High School State Championship Band. He was a veteran of the United States Navy where he graduated from Radioman A School at the U.S. Naval Training Station at San Diego, California.
Larry retired as a Retail Manager.
Larry was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. He enjoyed camping.

A celebration of life service for Larry will be held on Saturday, August 14 at 1:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin with visitation on Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. to time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, Indiana.
