Janice Elaine Frazier

FRANKLIN, IN.

Janice Elaine (Lee) Frazier, 83, of Franklin, IN and former longtime resident of Whiteland, IN passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021 at the Indiana Masonic Home at Compass Park in Franklin, IN.

She was born September 26, 1937 in Yorktown, Indiana to Claude and Viola (Blythe) Lee. She married her high school sweetheart Gene E. Frazier on December 6, 1954 at the First Baptist Church in Greenwood, IN, he preceded her in death on November 28, 2018.

She was a 1954 graduate of Whiteland High School. She had been a seamstress for Sears in Greenwood, IN for many years and was also a loving housewife and mother.

She was charter member of New Beginnings Community Church in Franklin, she also enjoyed sewing, gardening and farming.

Survivors include her children Jody Dingwell (John) of Powhatan, VA, Johnie Rick Frazier (Shirley) of Franklin, IN, and Susan Sandlin (Howard) of Coatesville, IN, nine grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

The Reverend Bruce Bendinger will conduct a service on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 12 Noon at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed for family and friends can connect at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/janice-frazier.
