MORGANTOWN
Randall E. McWethy, 69, of Morgantown passed away August 10, 2021 surrounded by his family. Randy was born in Indianapolis on June 29, 1952.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service. As a member of Southport United Methodist Church he played guitar with the praise band, Dayspring. Randy will be remembered for his love of fishing, music, reading, crossword puzzles, and especially his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Alice (Robertson) McWethy, sister and brother-in-law Bobbi and Don Barron, nephew Jonathan Pierce, several aunts, and an uncle.
Randy is survived by his wife of 45 years Pam, his daughter Stacy (Jeffrey) Knoop, sister Sandy (Kim) Foddrill, and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of life will take place at 3:00 p.m. on August 21 at Southport United Methodist Church (1947 E. Southport Rd.) with calling beginning at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the church.
Cremation is being handled by Indiana Funeral Care.
