Pamela Kaye (Jessie) Richards 69 of Whiteland, IN passed away Saturday September 4, 2021. She was born July 20, 1952 in Indianapolis, IN to James E. and Edna Mae (Branstetter) Jessie. She married William Dale Richards on January 23, 1971 at University Heights United Methodist Church in Indianapolis, IN, he survives.

She was a 1970 graduate of Greenwood High School and the House of James Beauty College in Indianapolis, IN.

Pam had been a hairdresser, worked in the cafeteria at Clark Pleasant Middle School and had an antique booth at Jerrys Antique Mall in Franklin for many years.

She was a lifetime member of the Johnson County Antique Machinery Association, the Suds’ Hot Rod Association in Greenwood and was active along with her husband Dale at the Pioneer Village at the Indiana State Fair for many years.

Survivors include her husband Dale Richards of Whiteland, IN, her two daughters Danita Parsons (Sam) of Whiteland, IN and Amanda Hobbs of Fircrest, WA, and four grandchildren Jessie York (David) of Indianapolis, IN, Samuel Parsons of Whiteland, IN, William Hobbs and Dylan Hobbs both of Fircrest, WA.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The Reverend Shan Rutherford will conduct a service on Saturday September 11, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed.
