FRANKLIN
Patricia Lee (Winkler) Gressel, 83, of Franklin, Indiana, passed away October 1, 2021 in Franklin.
Pat was born on Jan. 17, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Morton and Nellie (Porter) Winkler. She was married to the late Clinton Jay Gressel, passing in April of 2021, they were married for 65 years.
Pat was in retail sales, employed with the Turnstyle/Osco company, retiring in 1998 after 26 1/2 years of service. She was an avid reader, huge Colts football fan, enjoyed gardening, crocheting and watching western shows and movies. Pat loved all animals, especially dogs.
Pat is survived by her three daughters, Kathryn Lee (Dean) Anderson of Indianapolis, Laurie Ann (Chris) Elmore of Nineveh; and Jill (Kenny) Latham of Indianapolis, nine grandchildren, including Rachel Gressel whom she raised, eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Roseann (Marvin) Hodgins and Debbie Jasmund; and two sister-in-laws, Loretta Garver and Lynn Gressel
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Michael Jasmund, Robert “Bob” Jasmund and John Jasmund and a sister, Janie Royer.
A private family service will be held, followed by a Graveside service at 12:30 p.m. at Nineveh Cemetery in Nineveh, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Johnson County or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
