Jason Ray Downey, 51, passed away at his residence in Franklin on Saturday, September 11, 2021.
Jason was born on May 13, 1970 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Robert Downey and Marilyn (Young) Downey. He is survived by his loving fianc?, Tracy Reardon; sister, Robin Bryant (Tony) and brother, Bradley Downey. He is preceded in passing by his parents and niece, Amanda Bryant.
He attended Franklin Community Schools for most of his schooling before graduating from Brown County High School in 1988.
Jason worked for Amcor in Franklin for 20 years in the injection molding department.
He was an outdoorsman who loved nature. He enjoyed camping, hiking, fishing, and boating. He loved to travel. Jason enjoyed collecting crystals and rocks, and watching movies with his fianc?.
Jason was a kind hearted man who knew no stranger. He would do anything for anyone, especially his mother. He was loyal to his family and loved them above all else.
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton Street Franklin, Indiana 46131. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
