BARGERSVILLE, IN.
Ronald E. Rosser 76 of Bargersville, IN passed away Wednesday September 8, 2021. He was born June 16, 1945 in Hammond, IN to Billy J. Rosser and Georgia (White) Rosser. He married Bobbi L. (Tarrant) Rosser on February 5, 1966 in Lake Station, IN, she survives.
He was a 1964 graduate of East Gary Edison High School where he played basketball. He was a United States Navy Veteran having served on the U.S.S. Rankin and U.S.S. Shadwell.
He retired after 40 years of service retiring as a supervisor with data technical support at AT&T formerly Indiana Bell and Ameritech.
He enjoyed fishing, coaching youth sports including little league baseball and softball in Franklin and AAU basketball. He was everybody’s “PA” and enjoyed Coca Cola and black licorice.
Survivors include his wife Bobbi L. (Tarrant) Rosser of Bargersville, IN, children Carrie J. Miles of Bargersville, IN, Jeffrey S. Rosser of Bargersville, IN and Shaun T. Rosser of Franklin, IN, two grandchildren Luke Miles and Lily Miles of Bargersville, IN and their father Travis Miles of Morgantown, IN, sister Barbara Rosser Forrest (Hank) of Lake Station, IN and one nephew Terry Chambers of Lake Station, IN.
A celebration of life service will be conducted on Friday September 17, 2021 at 6PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed for family and friends to connect at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/ronald-rossre.
