NEW WHITELAND
Shaun Dale Waltz, 43, of New Whiteland, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Shaun was born on June 9, 1978 in Franklin, Indiana to Ronald “Sonny” and Rebecca “Becky” (Jacobs) Waltz.
Shaun married his wife, Amy (Floyd) Waltz, on October 15, 2016 in Shelbyville, Indiana; they were married for four wonderful years.
Shaun graduated from Whiteland Community High School in the Class of 1996. He later worked as an inventory purchaser at ABC Supply Company in Indianapolis for fifteen years. He was a loving and compassionate person who found joy in helping others. He had a talent for entertaining and treasured having his family and friends over to cook on the grill for them. Shaun loved to watch his son play sports and enjoyed fishing, golfing, and woodworking in his spare time.
Shaun is survived by his wife, Amy Waltz of New Whiteland, IN; his son, Kye James Waltz of New Whiteland; his parents, Sonny and Becky Waltz of New Whiteland; his grandmothers, Judy Miller and Margaret Waltz, both of Trafalgar, IN; his brothers, Kirk (Robyn) Waltz of Scottsdale, AZ and Chad (Anita) Waltz of New Whiteland; his nieces, Mia Waltz of New Whiteland and Addison Waltz of Scottsdale, AZ; his aunts and uncles.
Shaun was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Wendall Waltz, Larry Jacobs, and Dean Miller.
A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 7:00pm at Jessen Funeral Home ~ Whiteland Chapel with visitation from 5:00pm until the funeral hour.
