Willis ‘Mike’ Cravens

INDIANAPOLIS

Willis “Mike” Cravens, a beloved husband, father, son, and grandfather of Indianapolis, IN, went to the good Lord on October 24th, 2021, at the age of 64.

Mike is survived by his wife, Barbara Cravens; his children, Lucas and Kelle Cravens, Robert and Kayla Cravens; his grandchildren, Dylan Cravens, Kyle Taylor, Luke Duncan, Xander Cravens, Shalynn Cravens, Brelynn Cravens, and Maiah Taylor; his siblings, Deb and Craig Parsons, Patty Sparks and Matt Brown, Mike and Kyle Mariner, Debbie Kot, Cliff Query, Michael Query, and Tashona Cranfill; his parents Robert and Shirley Reese.

Mike is preceded in passing by his parents Willis and Ruby Cravens, and brother Chuck Mariner.

He was born in Beech Grove, IN on November 23rd, 1956 to Willis and Ruby Cravens. On August 12th, 1978 he married the love of his life Barbara. On July 24th 1981 and March 5th, 1986, he welcomed his two amazing sons, who were the most important part of his life and best friends. He was a skilled carpenter and billiard player.

Mike loved hunting, fishing, archery, playing pool, wood working, going to the casino, and spending any minute he could with all of his grand kids. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who always had a good joke to tell. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

Services for Mike are Saturday, November 6 at 4:00 PM at Singleton and St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, 7602 Madison Ave. Indpls., 46227 with visitation at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until time of service.
