Girls basketball

Trojans prevail in OT

Lindsey Walker hit a 3-pointer in the final minute of overtime and followed up with a defensive rebound at the other end as Center Grove edged Roncalli, 42-40, on Saturday morning. Audrey Annee had 10 points for the Trojans (4-4), with Ella Hobson adding nine. Sydney Horton had a game-high 15 points for the Royals (1-4).

Braves pull out road win

Faith Wiseman had 16 points and 15 rebounds to help lead Indian Creek to a 54-52 triumph at Sullivan. Lauren Foster and Ayla Lollar added 15 and 12 points, respectively, for the Braves (4-2, 1-0 WIC).

Warriors fall to Dragons

Whiteland wound up on the losing end of a 56-49 score against New Palestine. Gwen Higdon had 14 points for the Warriors (2-4), while Muskaan Ghuman totaled 15 rebounds and four steals.

Lancers, Woodmen top county foes

Edinburgh and Greenwood both came out on top in county rivalry games on Saturday, with the Lancers cruising to an 80-56 victory at Indian Creek and the Woodmen pulling out a narrow 39-36 home win over Greenwood Christian.

Swimming and diving

Trojans sweep Quakers

Center Grove took both ends of a Saturday morning dual meet against Plainfield, with the boys taking a 110-75 victory and the girls winning by a 112-74 margin. Sophomore diver Mia Prusiecki set a new school record with a six-dive score of 309.65.
