Lancers fall to unbeaten Cougars
Class A No. 2 Trinity Lutheran used 27 points from Bailey Tabeling to pull away for a 63-38 win at Edinburgh on Thursday. Gracie Crawhorn led the Lancers (4-4) with 13 points, followed by Callie Hancock and Cloee Britton with eight apiece.

Fundraiser a rousing success
The Franklin College athletic department plowed past its goal during this week’s #GrizTuesday online fundraiser, pulling in a total of $142,994 in pledges to support the Grizzlies’ sports programs.
“Our donors have demonstrated that they recognize the best way to lead is by giving back,” said Franklin College president Kerry Prather, who formerly worked as the school’s men’s basketball coach and athletic director. “Due to their generous support, our student-athletes will enjoy a well-rounded college experience that will provide them leadership skills for a lifetime.”
