Garry L. Luttrell

Garry L. Luttrell, 74, Franklin, passed away at 10:04 a.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at his home. He was born July 19, 1947, in Kokomo to Lewis and Thelma (Maddox) Luttrell. On November 6, 1971, he married Brenda Adamson, who survives.

A 1965 Kokomo High School graduate, Garry worked for General Motors as a metrologist retiring in 2004 after 39 years of service. He served in the United States Air Force from 1966-1970. He coached little league and delivered food for Meals on Wheels. Garry was a lifelong Cubs fan and enjoyed playing golf and traveling.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Luttrell; children, Scott (Mickey) Luttrell and Angela Curtis; grandchildren, Aidan Luttrell and Amy Luttrell; siblings, Lew Luttrell, Pat Shank, Linda Saul, Art Luttrell, and Mike Luttrell.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Wayne Luttrell.

A memorial service celebrating Garry’s life will be at Noon Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Shirley &Stout Funeral Home &Crematory, 1315 West Lincoln Road, with Chaplain Cathy Blanchard officiating. Military honors will be provided by the United States Air Force and the Kokomo VFW Military Rites Team. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery at a later date. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
