The Johnson County Board of Commissioners is seeking county residents to serve on a variety of county boards.
Here is a list of boards seeking applicants:
- Alcohol Beverage Commission Board (one-year term)
- Drainage Board (one-year term)
- Plan Commission (four-year term)
- Greenwood Public Library (four-year term)
- Bargersville Fire Protection District Board (four-year term)
- Needham Fire Protection District (four-year term)
- Nineveh Fire Protection District (four-year term)
- White River Fire Protection District Board
- Board of Health (two-year term)
- Property Tax Assessment Board of Appeals (one-year term)
- Convention, Visitor and Tourism Board (two-year term)
- Hensley Fire Protection District Board (four-year term)
To apply to serve on any of the above boards, visit co.johnson.gov for a Board Appointment Interest Form, found on the website’s home page. The form should be filled out and emailed to [email protected] by December 14.
To verify whether your address is in the correct township for the fire districts, visit the county website and click on GIS Maps or reference your property tax bill.
