Whiteland traveled to Beech Grove and came away with an easy 57-24 victory on Thursday evening. Braylyn Clendenen and Muskaan Ghuman each scored 12 points for the Warriors (4-8), with Ghuman pulling down seven rebounds.

Franklin tuned up for this weekend’s county tournament by cruising past Plainfield, 63-15, on Wednesday night. The Grizzly Cubs got victories from Aiden Woods (106 pounds), Colton Stevens (113), Luke Bechert (120), Caleb Wyss (126), Dayson Lashlee (132), Ethan Jeffery (138), Jude Barger (152), Dylan Forbus (160), Lance Jones (195), Nolan Skaggs (220) and Jacob Johnson (285).
