Lancers stay unbeaten

Class A No. 5 Edinburgh had no trouble with visiting Monrovia on Saturday, pulling away for an 88-64 triumph. Caleb Dewey paced the Lancers (7-0) with 24 points, followed by Landen Burton (20), Jarrett Turner (16), Travis Jones (11) and Riley Palmeter (nine).

Cougars nipped by Patriots

Despite 16 points from Blake Shewmaker and 13 from Max Booher, Greenwood Christian (2-5, 0-2 PAAC) came up on the short end of a 46-42 score against Bethesda Christian.

Royals defeated by Hornets

Roncalli took its first loss of the season at Beech Grove, 63-56. Luke Kegerreis led the Royals (2-1) with 15 points, while Gabe Horn and Nolan Tunny added 12 and 11, respectively.

Braves keep rolling

Faith Wiseman had 12 points and 20 rebounds as Indian Creek cruised to its eighth straight win, 56-34, at North Putnam on Saturday. Lauren Foster scored a game-high 17 points for the Braves (10-2, 6-0 WIC), while Emily Todor matched Wiseman with a dozen.

Trojans edged by Red Devils

Center Grove’s four-game win streak came to a halt in a 45-43 defeat at Pike. Savanna Bischoff scored 14 points to lead the Trojans (8-6, 2-1 MIC), followed by Aubrie Booker with 11 and Ella Hobson with nine.
