John Harry Prey
79 of Greenwood passed away December 22, 2021. He was born on May 9, 1942, in Kalamazoo, Michigan to the late Richard &Mary (Moore) Prey. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Erica Grommeck Prey. He is survived by four children, Jennifer (Brian) Wargel, Michael (Rebecca) Prey, Michelle (Lorin) Corbin, Robin (Greg) Lanford; brothers, Mark (Nita) Prey and Paul Prey; five grandchildren, Christopher Wargel, Emma Wargel, Piper Wargel, Ava Corbin, Nolan Corbin and many other family and friends.
A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, January 2nd with a calling from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service &Crematory, Greenwood Chapel 481 W. Main Street Greenwood, Indiana. He will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.
