Swimming and diving

Braves split five-way

Indian Creek’s boys and girls both went 2-2 in a five-way home dual on Tuesday, posting wins over Scecina and Covenant Christian. The Braves got wins on the boys side from Evan Dennis (50 freestyle, 100 butterfly), Evan Schaub (500 free) and Willy Martinez (diving). For the girls, Ella Taylor was victorious in both diving and the 50 free.

Woodmen split with Cougars

Greenwood’s boys topped Greenfield-Central, 105-67, while the girls took a 99-84 loss. The boys claimed all three relays and got individual wins from Conner Peckinpaugh (200 and 500 freestyle), Joe Sheets (200 IM), Jake Ellington (50 free) and Ethan Rose (100 backstroke). For the girls, Reagan Graves was first in the 200 free and the 100 butterfly, while Madison Peckinpaugh (100 free), Hailey Peckinpaugh (500 free) and Naomi Weaver (100 back) all added wins.

Trojans sweep Panthers

Center Grove took both ends of a dual meet at Bloomington South, with the boys pulling out a 93-83 victory and the girls winning by a more comfortable 110-76 margin.

Girls basketball

Creek edges Southport

Lauren Foster’s 22 points helped power Indian Creek to a 48-42 victory over Southport on Tuesday. Emily Todor had nine points for the Braves (13-4), with Faith Wiseman adding eight rebounds and five assists.

Boys basketball

Cougars cannibalize Cougars

Greenwood Christian rolled to a 55-29 home win over Trinity Lutheran on Tuesday. Max Booher had 18 points to lead GCA (5-6), followed by Blake Shewmaker with 14 and Noah Reed with 10.

Royals top Falcons

Roncalli earned a 43-35 triumph over Perry Meridian on Tuesday, getting 10 points from Luke Kegerreis, nine from Alex Moss and eight apiece from Caden Gore and Nolan Tunny.
