FRANKLIN
Becky Jo Lindsey, 65, passed away at Johnson Memorial Hospital on January 13, 2022. She was a longtime resident of Franklin.
Becky was born on November 9, 1957 in Vallejo, California to Bob Rust and Marty Jane Frawner. She married David Lindsey who preceded her in passing on June 29, 2018.
She is survived by her sons, Jon Paul Bennett and Thomas Samuel Bennett; granddaughter, Wrigley; brother, Jacky Frawner of Houston, Texas; niece, Krystal Clark; nephews, Luke Frawner and Hugh Frawner of Houston, Texas; and former husband, Mark Bennett. She was preceded in passing by her husband, David Lindsey; parents, Bob and Marty; and sister, Billi Jane Clark.
Becky graduated from Vallejo High School in 1975. She attended Indiana Business College.
She worked as a cook for Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Franklin. She made ice cream cakes at Dairy Queen where she was employed from 1979 until 2012.
Becky was a proud mother and grandmother. She was proud of her brother who served as a Navy combat veteran in Desert Storm. Becky was a selfless person and of Methodist faith.
A celebration of Becky’s life will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 11:00a.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton Street in Franklin. Visitation will be Monday, January 17, 2022 from 4:00p.m. until 7:00p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
