Center Grove dominated host Avon on Thursday, 65-6. The No. 3-ranked Trojans got wins by fall from Michael Tharpe (126 pounds), Wyatt Krejsa (132), Hayden Watson (145), Andre Merritt (152), Noah Clouser (170), Drake Buchanan (182), Bryce Crump (195) and Nate Johnson (285). Silas Stits won by tech fall at 138, while Reese Courtney (120) and Royce Deckard (220) both earned decisions.

Warriors suffer road defeat
Whiteland lost at Shelbyville, 56-48. Braylyn Clendenen scored 11 points for the Warriors (6-12), while Muskaan Ghuman and Emily Reed added eight points each and Kylee Marlin contributed seven. Ghuman pulled down 11 rebounds.
