Women’s basketball snaps skid

Franklin College ended its six-game losing streak in emphatic fashion Wednesday with a 72-54 home win over Earlham. Destinee Cross led a balanced effort for the Grizzlies (6-12, 4-7 HCAC) with 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Kayla Bruner (11 points) and Jasmine Walker (10) both hit double digits from off the bench.

Men’s basketball picks up road win

Matt Krause scored a career-high 34 points and added 12 rebounds to lead Franklin College to an 85-77 victory at Earlham. Ty Wright added 20 points for the Grizzlies (9-9, 5-6 HCAC), who shot 51% from the floor overall and hit 11 of 20 3-point attempts.

Cougars defeated by Chatard

Greenwood Christian suffered a 58-28 setback against Bishop Chatard on Tuesday night. The Cougars (11-10) were led by seven points apiece from Ellie Bigelow and Dani Simon.
