Fire Angels, Inc., a local nonprofit that helps those affected by house fires, received a customized van from a local company during an event last Wednesday at the Whiteland Fire Department. Carriage Cleaners, an Indianapolis-based smoke and water restoration company, donated the van. Carriage Cleaners has helped the nonprofit with supplies several times over the last few months, and has repeatedly checked in to see if Fire Angels needs anything. During a conversation a few months ago, Fire Angels President Brittany Painter had mentioned they were having trouble with the time it takes for them to respond, so Carriage donated the van, paid to have it wrapped in Fire Angel’s decals and paid the insurance on it for the first year.
