Sarah Lou Guess
April 3, 1938 – March 2, 2022
Sarah, known to all of her friends and family as Sally, left us peacefully on the morning of March 2nd. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Richard Guess; her son, Jeff Guess and daughter, Ann Guess Anderson along with 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Born in Indianapolis, she lived many of her years in Martinsville, Indiana and spent several years working within the Decatur Central School District. Sally was a grandma to everyone she encountered. She was an avid sports fan and loved her Indianapolis Colts, she also enjoyed gardening, cooking and hosting friends and family for all occasions.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens of Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday at 11:30 am.
Sally will be laid to rest in Mount Pleasant Greenwood Cemetery.
