Drivers who travel between Whiteland and Franklin should prepare for a four-week closure of a portion of Graham Road for bridge work.
Graham Road will be closed between Earlywood Drive (County Road 300 North) and Paul Hand Boulevard (County Road 400 North) for four weeks beginning March 28 for minor repair work for a bridge over Canary Ditch. The road will be closed to all traffic at the bridge, which is located about 500 feet south of Paul Hand Boulevard, according to a Johnson County Highway Department news release.
The official detour route to bypass the closure uses Whiteland Road, U.S. 31 and Earlywood Drive. The route will have detour signs up, the news release says.
