Shepherd misses ANWA cut

Finishing up her suspended second round on Friday morning, Erica Shepherd missed the cut at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur with a 36-hole total of 79-77—156 at Champions Retreat. The Center Grove graduate tied for 58th. The top 30 players advance to today’s final round at Augusta National; the entire field played a practice round there on Friday following the conclusion of the second round.

Shepherd, now a junior at Duke, is one of just nine players to compete in the ANWA all three years. She tied for 16th last year and 23rd at the inaugural event in 2019.
