A man who was an executive with Microsoft, Yahoo!, Amazon and Pandora Media/Sirius XM will host a lecture at Franklin College Thursday evening.
In the lecture by David Gerbitz, titled “De-coding Digital Fluency,” he will discuss the importance of digital fluency and how to navigate a digital landscape that includes exponential growth, innovation, consumption and business disruption, according to a Franklin College news release.Gerbitz, currently the Chief People Officer at Qurate Retail Group, has served as the Chief Operating Officer at Pandora Media/Sirius XM and held global leadership roles at Microsoft, Yahoo! and Amazon, according to the release.
Gerbitz’s lecture will take place 7 p.m. Thursday in the Branigin Room of the Napolitan Student Center. The event is free and open to the public.
