FRANKLIN
Lucy Brown, 87, of Franklin passed away on April 7, 2022.
She was born on November 25, 1934 in Shaw, Mississippi to David Clint Crawford and Mabel (McClure) Crawford. She married Richard Brown, Jr. who preceded her in passing. Lucy is survived by son, David Brown of Madison, Wisconsin; grandsons, William Brown and Ian Brown and two sisters, Virginia King and Martha Azlin. She was preceded in passing by her parents; and husband, Richard.
Lucy was a graduate of Boyle High School in Mississippi and attended Delta State in Mississippi.
She was employed by Union Bank and Trust Company from 1972 until retirement in 2000 where she was a Trust Officer for many years and later the manager at the Bargersville and White River branches.
She was a longtime faithful member of First Southern Baptist Church in New Whiteland, Indiana where she played the piano and organ for many years. Lucy was a very active in the Franklin Community.
She will be buried at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Indiana on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin is assisting the family with arrangements.
