Boys golf

Whiteland defeats Creek

Will Davis shot his second 33 in as many matches, leading Whiteland to a 164-181 victory over Indian Creek at The Legends on Monday. Dylan Gross added a 42 for the Warriors, followed by Garrett Butler (43) and Evan Meece (46).

Trojans beat Falcons

Center Grove used a balanced lineup to take care of Perry Meridian at Hickory Stick, 155-190. Luke Beetz paced the Trojans with a 38, while Drew Rowen, Nate Olson and Ted Lasaru each carded a 39.

Lancers win three-way

Max Blandford’s 40 was good for medalist honors as Edinburgh defeated Hauser by 17 strokes and Waldron by 50. Trevor Moon shot 47 and Mason Calhoun 49 for the Lancers.

Baseball

Warriors top Dragons

Caden Wilburn struck out 14 on the hill and delivered four RBIs, three of them on a home run, to lead Whiteland to a 7-4 win over New Palestine on Monday. Eli Hawkins had three hits in as many at-bats for the Warriors (8-1).

Softball

Royals blank Chatard

Keagan Rothrock pitched a no-hitter and struck out nine as Class 4A No. 1 Roncalli topped Bishop Chatard, 10-0, on Monday. Kylie Freije and Tori Candler each hit a home run for the Royals (5-0), while Cate Lehner drove in three runs on a pair of doubles.
