BEFORE YOU VOTE: Read our candidate interviews

Today is the last day for early voting. Johnson County Clerk’s Office is offering early voting in the courthouse basement from 8 a.m. to noon.

All outstanding absentee ballots must be turned into the clerk’s office by 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

Election Day voters may vote at any vote center across the county from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Daily Journal will print additional voting information tomorrow.

Before you vote, go online to check out our Where They Stand candidate interview series. We spoke with candidates in each contested race and published their opinions on key issues facing the state, county and small towns.

Voters who chose the Republican ballot will have choices for Indiana House of Representatives District 47, 57 and 60, Johnson County Prosecutor, County Council Districts 1 and 4, town councils in Bargersville, Edinburgh and New Whiteland, Nineveh Township Trustee, and the Union Township seat on the Franklin Union Needham Township Board.

Both Democratic and Republican voters have a choice for U.S. House of Representatives, as the District 6 seat is contested on both sides of the aisle.

Voters in who live in the Edinburgh school district also have a public question regarding school funding to consider, regardless of party.
