Patrick E. Tinkle

BARGERSVILLE, IN.

Patrick E. Tinkle 72 of Bargersville, IN passed away Thursday April 28, 2022, at the Indiana Masonic Home at Compass Park in Franklin, IN. He was born June 18, 1949, in Indianapolis, IN to Harold Samuel Tinkle Sr. and Arvetta Lorene (Kinnick) Tinkle. He married Wilma K. (Zimmer) Tinkle on August 1, 2005, in Gatlinburg, TN, she survives.

He was a 1967 graduate of Center Grove High School in Greenwood, IN. He was a member of New Beginnings Community Church in Franklin and the Johnson County Antique Machinery Association. He was an avid golfer loved working on small engines and attending auctions.

Patrick was a United States Marine Veteran.

Survivors include his wife Wilma K. (Zimmer) Tinkle of Bargersville, IN, a son David Tinkle (Lori) of Shelbyville, IN, a daughter Dana Sanders (Mike) of Needham, IN, stepsons Eric Roberts (Tina) of Mooresville, IN, Keven Roberts (Malerie) of Greenwood, IN and Mark Roberts (Tessa) of Indianapolis, IN, twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren, sisters Priscilla Daschiell of Greenwood, IN, Peggy Harold (Bob) of Greenwood, IN, Pam Harold (David) of Greenwood, IN, Portia Hughes (Larry) of Bargersville, IN, Patricia Jones (Bruce) of Franklin, IN and Paulette Lott (Jack) of Whiteland, IN, brothers Phil Tinkle of Greenwood, IN, Pete Tinkle (Patricia) of Mooresville, IN, Perry Tinkle (Suzie) of Greenwood, IN, Sam Tinkle Jr. (Nancy) of Bargersville, IN, Preston Tinkle (Brandy) of Franklin, IN, Parvin Tinkle (Julie) of Franklin, IN and Presley Tinkle (Julia) of Franklin, IN and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Harold Samuel Tinkle Sr. June 18, 2020, his mother Arvetta Lorene (Kinnick) Tinkle on January 16, 1981, brother Paul E. Tinkle on July 5, 2014, and a sister Penny Tinkle on June 24, 1972, and one great grandchild.

Pastor Bruce Bendinger will conduct a Celebration of Life Service on Friday May 6, 2022, at 11AM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN with military honors to follow by the United States Marine Honor Guard. The service will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com. Friends may call Thursday May 5, 2022 from 5PM until 8PM at the mortuary and on Friday from 10AM until service time.
